Caring Staff
|
Our team at Reed House are experienced and well trained to care for your pets in your absence. Each member of staff has been chosen for their love of animals, and possesses a sincere desire to care for our boarders and ensure their comfort and safety whilst staying with us.
Owners - Alan & Alison Edwards
‘Alan and I are responsible for the day
to day Management of all aspects of
the farm.
We take great pride in
ensuring that we maintain
high standards, whilst still creating
a
warm and welcoming atmosphere.’
Head of Kennels & Cattery - Lynsey Mowbray
‘I have worked at Reed House for 10 years and I am very experienced with all creatures great and small, scaly, large and furry. I have various qualifications including a National Diploma in Animal Care and Dog Grooming. I love dogs and cats and have my own bundle of fun, a cat called Benny. I like horses too and, even though I don’t ride, I enjoy all aspects of horse care and I have lots of experience in handling them. I hope to look after your animals when they come for a long or short stay with us.’
Head of Livery Yard - Naomi
Naomi is Head of the Livery Section but works in the kennels and cattery as well. She has her own two horses on the yard and at home, she has 5 cats and a house rabbit. Ask Naomi for help and she will give you 110% to the best of her knowledge.
‘I qualified my home produced pony Bailey for Horse of the Year Show in 2010 and I am well known in the North West for my love of showing. I have a passion for grooming Persian cats and the results look amazing. I have worked here for five years part time and have recently taken a full time position.’
General Assistant - Katie
Katie is our fifteen year old daughter and will be found every weekend working somewhere in the business, either dog walking/bathing or on routine kennel duties. She has two horses that she regularly competes with and, as we have six dogs ourselves, she doesn’t have a lot of spare time.
Head of Security - Baxter
Head Receptionist - Petunia
‘You will find me in the main reception and my main jobs include wolf whistling and saying hello.
I also keep our clients’ birds company when we have them to stay with us!’
‘Woof! I take my job very seriously and can often be seen patrolling the grounds out of hours, with my sisters.
My owners adore me. I am always lying around the yard catching up on sleep. I just hope they don’t see me!’
‘I work hard keeping the pests under control and tasting the cat food and Tizzy just loves playing with her mouse all day.’
Pest Controller - Kenny
and Computer Operator - Tizzy
